2 ripe bananas
1 cup self-rising flour
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth and free of lumps. You can use a fork or a potato masher for this step.
Gradually add the self-rising flour into the mashed bananas, stirring until a thick dough forms. Be careful not to overmix; just combine until no flour streaks remain.
Using your hands, pinch off small pieces of dough (about the size of a tablespoon) and roll them into balls. You should get about 12-15 donut holes.
Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the donut holes are lightly golden and set. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
Once baked, allow them to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your delicious, soft, and healthy banana donut holes warm or at room temperature!
