Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 large apple, diced (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped (optional)

1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional)

Pinch of salt

Extra cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.

Add the Apple: Fold in the diced apples gently until they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

Incorporate Nuts and Dried Fruits: If using, add the chopped walnuts and dried cranberries (or raisins) to the mixture. Stir to combine.

Spread the Yogurt Mixture: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the parchment, spreading it out evenly to about 1/2-inch thick.

Sprinkle with Extra Cinnamon: Sprinkle a little extra ground cinnamon on the top of the yogurt for added flavor and aroma.

Freeze the Bark: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow it to freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.

Break into Pieces: Once frozen solid, remove the yogurt bark from the freezer. Use your hands or a knife to break it into pieces of your desired size.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately or store the pieces in an airtight container in the freezer for a refreshing snack anytime!
