Ingredients

12 Hawaiian rolls (slider buns)

1 pound sliced ham (preferably smoked)

8 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

      Assemble the Sliders:

        - Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops attached. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.

          - Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the inside of the bottom half of the rolls.

            - Layer half of the sliced Swiss cheese over the mayonnaise.

              - Add a generous layer of sliced ham, followed by the remaining Swiss cheese.

                - Finally, place the top half of the rolls on top.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Brush the Sliders: Drizzle or brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders. Make sure to cover thoroughly so they bake to perfection.

Bake: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Afterward, uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.

Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing them apart. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey melted cheese and savory ham!
