Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb steak (sirloin or flank), cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add the cherry tomatoes and spinach to the skillet. Cook until the spinach wilts and tomatoes soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the cooked steak bites, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.

Toss the penne pasta into the creamy steak mixture, ensuring the pasta is well-coated.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
