Ingredients

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pound filet mignon or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon olive oil

Red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Fettuccine: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper. Once the oil is hot, add the steak to the skillet. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium-low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp into the Alfredo sauce. Gently toss everything together until well coated. If needed, adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper.

Serve: Divide the pasta between plates and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a refreshing twist. Enjoy your decadent meal!
