2 cups whole milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped

For Topping:

Whipped cream

Chocolate shavings or shreds for garnish

Make the Brownie Base:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan.

      - In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Stir until well mixed.

        - Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.

          - In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.

            - Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

              - Pour brownie batter into the prepared pie pan, spreading it evenly.

                - Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow it to cool completely.

                  Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Filling:

                    - In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

                      - Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to thicken and bubble. This will take about 5-8 minutes.
