Ingredients

For the Pasta:

12 oz fettuccine or your choice of pasta

Salt (for pasta water)

For the Cajun Shrimp:

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Steak:

1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips

1 tsp steak seasoning (or salt and pepper to taste)

1 tbsp olive oil

For the Alfredo Sauce:

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

3 tbsp unsalted butter

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

    - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Cajun Shrimp:

        - While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and add it to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

          Sear the Steak:

            - In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Season the steak strips with steak seasoning. Sear the meat on both sides for about 4-5 minutes until cooked to your liking. Don't overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

              Make the Alfredo Sauce:

                - In the same skillet, melt 3 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and add the grated Parmesan cheese slowly, whisking well until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

                  Combine Everything:

                    - Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached. Fold in the cooked shrimp and steak, mixing gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce.

                      Serve:

                        - Divide the pasta into serving bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil. Enjoy your Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta hot!
