Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.

Add the Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Sauté until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Create the Sauce: Lower the heat to medium and stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring it to a simmer, allowing it to reduce slightly for about 5-7 minutes.

Add the Cheeses: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet. Toss well to coat every piece of pasta in the cheesy beef mixture.

Finish with Garlic Butter: In a separate small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat and add a minced garlic clove. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Drizzle this garlic butter over the pasta mixture and gently toss.

Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and more grated cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
