Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup bread flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed (110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley

1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature (for shaping)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, bread flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. Whisk together to mix well.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs. Whisk until well blended.

Combine Mixtures: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing with a spatula until a rough dough forms.

Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare Filling: While the dough is rising, mix the minced garlic, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and chopped parsley in a bowl. Set aside.

Shape the Cruffins: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle (about 12x16 inches). Spread the room temperature butter evenly over the dough.

Add Filling: Sprinkle the cheese and garlic mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Roll and Cut: Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces (about 1.5 inches each) and arrange them in a greased muffin pan, standing upright.

Second Rise: Cover the muffin pan with a kitchen towel and allow the dough to rise for another 30-45 minutes until puffed.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake: Bake the cruffins for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve: Let cool for a few minutes in the pan, then gently transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm, and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
