Ingredients

1 large loaf of French bread (or Italian bread)

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional, for garnish)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread: Using a serrated knife, cut the French bread in half lengthwise. Gently hollow out the inside of both halves, leaving about 1/2-inch of bread on the crust to form shells.

Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Bread: Evenly distribute the filling mixture into both halves of the hollowed-out bread. Press it down gently to pack it in.

Brush with Olive Oil: Lightly brush the tops of the stuffed bread with olive oil to help with browning.

Bake: Place the stuffed bread halves on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle with fresh chives for added flavor and presentation. Cut into slices and serve warm.
