Ingredients

2 cups crushed chocolate chip cookies (preferably homemade or store-bought)

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1 cup whipped cream (sweetened, if desired)

¼ cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Optional: sprinkles or nuts for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Cookie Crust:

    - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate chip cookies and melted butter until well-blended.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form an even crust.

          - Bake the crust for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow it to cool completely.

            Mix Ice Cream Filling:

              - In a large bowl, stir the softened vanilla ice cream until it’s creamy and easy to spread.

                - Fold in the mini chocolate chips to add a delightful crunch.

                  Assemble the Pie:

                    - Once the cookie crust has cooled, pour the ice cream mixture into the pie crust and spread it evenly.

                      - Cover the surface with a layer of whipped cream, smoothing it out gently using a spatula.

                        Freeze the Pie:

                          - Place the assembled pie in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until firm.

                            Serve the Pie:

                              - Before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and add any optional sprinkles or nuts for an extra touch.

                                - Cut into slices and enjoy your decadent treat!
