Ingredients

1 cup pecan halves

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Coating: In a bowl, mix together the sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Coat the Pecans: In another mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and vanilla extract. Add the pecans and stir until they are thoroughly coated. Then, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the pecans and toss to evenly coat them.

Bake the Pecans: Spread the coated pecans onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the pecans are golden brown and fragrant.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the pecans from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet. As they cool, they will harden. Enjoy them as a snack, sprinkle them over salads, or use them in desserts!
