Ingredients

6 slices of thick-cut bread (Challah or Brioche preferred)

1 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal (plus extra for topping)

3 large eggs

1 cup milk (whole or almond milk for a dairy-free option)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)

2 tbsp butter (for cooking)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Fresh fruit (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Cereal Coating: In a blender or food processor, pulse the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal until it becomes a fine crumb. Transfer it to a shallow dish and set aside.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, ground cinnamon, and sugar (if using) until well combined.

Coat the Bread: Take each slice of bread and dip it into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side. Let the excess drip off, then immediately coat the slice in the crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch, pressing gently so the crumbs stick.

Cook the French Toast: In a large skillet or griddle, heat the butter over medium heat. Once melted and bubbly, add the coated slices of bread to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your skillet.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the French toast from the skillet. Serve warm, topped with additional crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a drizzle of maple syrup, and fresh fruit if desired.

Garnish & Enjoy: Add a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top for an extra touch, and enjoy your delightful Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast!
