Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1 cup warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)

2 teaspoons instant yeast

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for flavor)

1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for a touch of sweetness on top)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and instant yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

Add the sweetened condensed milk, salt, olive oil, and vanilla extract (if using) to the yeast mixture, and stir until combined.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour, one cup at a time, mixing with a spatula or wooden spoon until no dry flour remains. The dough will be wet and sticky.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm area for 1 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Once the dough has risen, gently scoop it out onto a well-floured surface. Shape it into a rough loaf shape without kneading and transfer it to the prepared loaf pan.

Optional: Sprinkle a little sugar on top for a sweet crust.

Cover the loaf again and let it rest for about 30 minutes to an hour, allowing it to rise slightly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and it sounds hollow when tapped.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
