2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sour cream

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped (optional)

1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Instructions
 

Boil Sweet Potatoes: In a large pot, add the cubed sweet potatoes and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

    Cook Garlic: While the sweet potatoes are boiling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
