4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup spinach, fresh (optional)

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not burnt.

        Add the Cream and Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

          Combine the Chicken: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. If you’re using spinach, add it at this stage and stir until wilted.

            Simmer: Let everything simmer together for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

              Garnish and Serve: Once the sauce is thickened to your liking, remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
