Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

      - In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

        Set Up the Dredging Station:

          - In separate bowls, place the beaten eggs and panko breadcrumbs.

            - Dip each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then into the egg, followed by rolling it in the panko until fully coated. Place the coated strips onto the prepared baking sheet.

              Create the Honey Mustard Sauce:

                - In a small bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

                  Bake the Tenders:

                    - Drizzle a little olive oil over the chicken tenders and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and fully cooked, flipping halfway through.

                      Serve:

                        - Once done, remove the chicken tenders from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve drizzled with the honey mustard sauce and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

                          Enjoy!

                            - Dip the crispy chicken tenders in the remaining honey mustard sauce for an explosion of flavor!
