Ingredients

Crust:

24 Oreo cookies, crushed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling:

16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

12 Oreo cookies, chopped (for mixing in)

Garnish:

6 Oreo cookies, crushed (for topping)

Chocolate sauce (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated and the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even crust. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring it's well incorporated and fluffy.

Add Oreos: Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the cheesecake filling until evenly distributed.

Combine: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the chilled Oreo crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Smooth the top and create a decorative swirl if desired.

Chill: Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight for the best set.

Serve: Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies on top and drizzle with chocolate sauce if using. Slice into wedges and enjoy!
