Ingredients

1 bag (10-12 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn (canned or frozen)

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup diced red onion

½ cup sliced black olives (optional)

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) until fully cooked, around 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Meat: Stir in the taco seasoning with 2/3 cup of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Salad Base: In a large bowl, add the shredded lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, black beans, corn, diced red onion, and sliced black olives (if using). Gently toss until combined.

Add the Meat: Fold in the cooked and seasoned meat into the salad base, combining everything well.

Cheese It Up: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the salad mixture.

Crunch It Later: Just before serving, crush the Doritos and fold them into the salad for that crunchy texture.

Dress the Salad: Serve the salad with a dollop of sour cream and a generous spoonful of salsa on top. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Serve Immediately: This dish is best enjoyed right after assembling to keep the Doritos crunchy.
