Ingredients

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon sugar

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Sesame seeds and green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare the Broccoli: While the beef is marinating, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli florets in the boiling water for about 2 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in batches, searing it for about 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef and set aside.

Sauté Garlic and Ginger: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Return the beef to the skillet along with the blanched broccoli. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.

Serve: Plate the stir-fry over cooked rice or quinoa. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for extra color and flavor.
