Easy Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole Recipe

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 cup uncooked white rice

2 cups beef broth (or water)

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, diced bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender, breaking apart the beef with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

      Add Seasonings: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

        Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, uncooked rice, beef broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

          Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Spread it out evenly.

            Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

              Add Cheese: After 30 minutes, remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the casserole, then return it to the oven uncovered. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
