Ingredients

1 package of pre-made garlic bread (sliced)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup marinara sauce

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Slice the Garlic Bread: Take the pre-made garlic bread and cut each slice in half, creating smaller “bites.” You should have enough pieces to form a base for each bite.

        Assemble the Bites:

          - Place half of a garlic bread slice on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

            - Spread about a tablespoon of the marinara sauce on the garlic bread.

              - Add a generous spoonful of the ricotta cheese mixture on top of the sauce.

                - Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.

                  - Finish with another garlic bread slice, creating a sandwich effect.

                    - Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.

Top and Bake: Once all bites are assembled, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each one. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the bites to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
