Ingredients

24 Oreo cookies

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cups cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 cup chocolate pudding mix

2 cups milk

Additional crushed Oreos for topping

Chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a food processor, crush 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbs with melted butter, mixing until the texture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool.

Cream cheese layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until the mixture is fluffy and well blended.

Layer the dessert: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust.

Pudding layer: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Pour this pudding over the cream cheese layer and smooth it out gently with a spatula.

Topping layer: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top for an added crunch and flair.

Chill: Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Serve: Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top just before serving, for an extra touch of decadence. Cut into squares and enjoy your heavenly dessert!
