Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons honey

4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Mix the Glaze: Stir in the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

Season the Salmon: While the glaze is simmering, pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin side down if applicable. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy (if using skin-on) and the salmon is cooked halfway up the sides.

Glaze the Salmon: Carefully flip the salmon fillets over. Pour the honey butter glaze over the top and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce, until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

Serve: Once done, remove the salmon from the skillet. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm with lemon slices on the side.
