Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust based on spice preference)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the leftover marinade for later basting. Sprinkle the salmon with a little salt and black pepper.

Cook the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the salmon with some of the reserved marinade.

Broil for Glaze (Optional): For an extra caramelized glaze, switch the oven to broil. Broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove the salmon from the oven. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh twist.

Enjoy: Pair your Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon with steamed rice or quinoa and a side of vegetables for a complete meal!
