Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Taste and adjust the heat by adding more Sriracha if desired.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat Your Grill/Oven: If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Cooking Surface: If grilling, oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking. For baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

          Cook the Salmon:

            - Grilling Method: Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing excess sauce to drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Brush with additional marinade during the last few minutes of grilling for extra flavor.

              - Baking Method: Place the marinated salmon on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Brush with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes of baking.

Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish. Serve with steamed rice and your choice of veggies.

Enjoy: Dig into this delectable dish and savor the perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors!
