Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Hot Fudge: Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce, allowing swirls to form throughout the batter. If desired, incorporate the chopped nuts and chocolate chips for added texture.

Bake the Bread: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay).

Cool and Serve: Allow the brownie bread to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with extra hot fudge sauce before slicing and serving.
