1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 8 slices)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat if needed.

      Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, crumbled bacon, halved cherry tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. If using, fold in the chopped dill pickles for an added crunch.

        Prepare the Egg Mixture: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined. Stir in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

          Combine Everything: Gently fold the beef mixture into the egg and cheese mixture until evenly distributed.

            Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the combined mixture into a greased 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) casserole dish, spreading it evenly.

              Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top of the casserole.

                Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden and bubbly.

                  Cool and Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for about 5-10 minutes before cutting it into squares. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
