Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough

8 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked ham (or sausage or bacon)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form a solid layer at the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Mix the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Add Fillings: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, and chopped spinach into the egg mixture.

Combine with Dough: Pour the egg mixture over the rolled-out crescent dough in the baking dish, spreading it evenly across the surface.

Top it Off: If desired, you can add more cheese on top or sprinkle fresh herbs to enhance the flavor.

Chill (Optional): If you're making this ahead, cover the casserole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.

Bake the Casserole: When ready to bake, remove the plastic wrap and place the casserole in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm with fresh fruit or a side of your favorite breakfast beverage!
