4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced

1 cup milk (whole or buttermilk for extra creaminess)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup green onions, sliced (for topping)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Prepare the Potatoes: Place the diced potatoes in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender. Drain well.

    Make the Mashed Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, add the drained potatoes, milk, sour cream, cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
