Ingredients

For the Patties:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Special Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp white vinegar

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

2 dill pickles, finely chopped

For Assembly:

12 mini hamburger buns

12 slices of American cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 small onion, finely chopped

Dill pickle slices for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into mini patties, slightly larger than the buns since they'll shrink while cooking.

Make the Special Sauce: In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped dill pickles. Stir until well blended and set aside.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each mini patty for about 3-4 minutes per side until they reach the desired doneness and have a nice sear. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty, covering them with a lid to help melt the cheese.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, slice the mini buns in half (if they aren't already) and toast them lightly on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.

Assemble the Mini Big Macs: Spread a generous spoonful of the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cheesy patty on top, followed by shredded lettuce, chopped onions, and a slice of dill pickle. Top each with the other half of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the assembled mini Big Macs on a platter and serve immediately. Feel free to serve with additional special sauce on the side for dipping, along with your favorite sides like fries or onion rings.
