4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 cup long-grain white rice

1 medium onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup frozen peas

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Add the chicken to the pan and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

    Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent. Then, add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

      Add Rice and Broth: Stir in the rice and cook for about 1 minute to lightly toast it. Next, pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
