Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak or beef (you can use chicken if preferred)

1 medium onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (green or red), sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Sauté the Veggies: In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are softened and slightly caramelized. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to the side of the pot and add the sliced sirloin steak. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the meat is browned but not fully cooked.

Combine Ingredients: Add the uncooked penne pasta, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning to the pot. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Cook the Pasta: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover the pot and let it cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.

Add Cream and Cheese: Remove the lid and stir in the heavy cream and shredded provolone cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes to thicken. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious homemade One-Pot Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!
