Ingredients

1 package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)

Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration

Instructions

Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, add the Oreo cookies and pulse until they are finely crushed. You can also place them in a zip-top bag and use a rolling pin to crush them if you don't have a food processor.

Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Use a spatula or your hands to mix until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and moldable.

Form the Balls: Scoop out about a tablespoon of the Oreo mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used.

Chill the Balls: Once you have your Oreo balls formed, place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This step helps them firm up, making them easier to coat in chocolate.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Coat the Oreo Balls: Take the chilled Oreo balls out of the refrigerator. Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing them back on the lined baking sheet.

Decorate: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed Oreos or colorful sprinkles on top of the coated Oreo balls for decoration.

Chill Again: Place the baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes until the chocolate coating hardens completely.

Serve: Enjoy your delicious Oreo balls straight from the fridge. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
