Ingredients

1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 container (12 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

2 cups chocolate pudding (instant or homemade)

Gummy worms (for decoration)

Edible grass (optional, for decoration)

A few whole Oreos (for topping)

Instructions

Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the crushed Oreos for topping later.

Make the Base: In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with melted butter. Mix until evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.

Prepare Cream Cheese Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and smooth.

Layer the Cream Cheese Mixture: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Oreos crust in the baking dish.

Add the Pudding: Prepare chocolate pudding according to package instructions. Once ready, pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.

Top with Crushed Oreos: Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos on top of the pudding layer.

Decorate: Add gummy worms on top, burying some into the layers to create the dirt effect. For an extra touch, you can sprinkle some edible grass if desired.

Chill: Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight to allow it to set.

Serve: Before serving, top with a few whole Oreos and additional gummy worms for decoration. Slice and enjoy the delicious layers of Oreo Dirt Cake!
