Ingredients

1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

2 cups milk

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

1 package (6.5 oz) gummy worms (for decoration)

1 potted plant or cake stand (optional, for presentation)

Instructions

Prepare the Oreos: In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs; set aside about 1 cup for garnishing.

Make the Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the whipped topping. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Combine Pudding and Milk: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Let it stand for 5 minutes until it thickens.

Combine Mixtures: Fold the chocolate pudding into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

Layer the Cake: In a large trifle dish or individual cups, start with a layer of the crushed Oreo cookies, then add a layer of the cream mixture, followed by another layer of crushed Oreos. Repeat the layers until you reach the top, ending with the Oreo crumbs.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Garnish: Before serving, top with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs. Arrange gummy worms on top to give it the dirt effect.

Serve & Enjoy: If using a potted plant or cake stand, transfer the dirt cake into it for a fun presentation. Scoop and serve for a delightfully sweet treat!
