Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Optional: Greek yogurt or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches: Start by washing the peaches under cool water. Cut them in half, remove the pits, and if desired, you can slice them into quarters for easier serving.

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it begins to bubble slightly.

Add Sugar and Cinnamon: Immediately add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the melted butter. Stir to combine and let the mixture bubble for about a minute to create a syrup.

Cook the Peaches: Place the peach halves cut-side down into the skillet, allowing them to cook for about 3-4 minutes. Gently spoon some of the butter mixture over the peaches as they cook.

Flip and Sauté: Once the cut side is nicely caramelized, carefully flip the peaches over. Add vanilla extract, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they become tender and golden.

Serve: Remove from heat and let cool for a minute. Serve the pan-fried peaches warm, topped with fresh mint leaves. For an extra indulgence, add a dollop of Greek yogurt or whipped cream.
