Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup cream cheese, cubed

3 cups milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon mustard powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

Instructions

Begin by cooking the elbow macaroni according to the package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the macaroni and cheese mixture and stir until evenly combined.

Pour the entire mixture into your crockpot, spreading it out evenly. If using breadcrumbs, sprinkle them evenly over the top for a crunchy texture.

Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Once cooked, unplug the crockpot and let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving. This will help set the cheese a little more for creamy servings.

Serve warm and enjoy your delicious, comforting bowl of Paula Deen’s Crockpot Mac and Cheese!
