For the Dough:

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 cup buttermilk

For the Peach Filling:

2 large ripe peaches, peeled and diced

½ cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Cinnamon Sugar:

½ cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the cold cubed butter and mix with a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually stir in the buttermilk until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Knead the Dough: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.

      Make the Peach Filling: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the diced peaches, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Stir often for about 5-7 minutes, until the mixture is bubbly and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.

        Roll Out the Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 15x10 inches in size. Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough.

          Add the Filling: Spoon the cooled peach filling evenly across the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

            Sprinkle Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the peach filling.

              Roll and Cut: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.

                Bake: Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked in the center.

                  Prepare the Glaze: While the rolls are baking, make the cream cheese glaze. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

                    Glaze and Serve: Remove the rolls from the oven and drizzle them generously with the cream cheese glaze. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
