2 ripe pears, sliced thinly

1 cup ricotta cheese

2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

4 slices of thick, crusty bread (such as sourdough or ciabatta)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

A pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Crushed walnuts or pistachios for topping (optional)

Prepare the Ricotta Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, honey, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until creamy and smooth. Set aside.
