Ingredients

1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 small bell pepper (green or red), thinly sliced

8 oz ribeye steak, thinly sliced (or an alternative steak)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: chili flakes for extra heat

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure a crispy crust. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

Prepare the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced steak seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Add the Worcestershire sauce and sauté for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until they are soft and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness, typically about 12 inches in diameter. If using a pizza stone, make sure to transfer the dough onto a pizza peel dusted with flour or cornmeal for easy sliding into the oven.

          Assemble the Pizza:

            - Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese onto the pizza dough as a base.

              - Evenly distribute the cooked steak over the cheese.

                - Top with the sautéed onions and bell peppers.

                  - Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and provolone cheese on top of the veggies and steak.

Bake: Carefully slide your pizza onto the hot pizza stone or place it on a baking sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Garnish & Serve: Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and optional chili flakes for added spice. Slice and enjoy your Philly Cheesesteak Pizza!
