Ingredients

1 loaf of French bread (about 12 inches)

1 cup pizza sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or your preferred toppings)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise to create two boats.

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over the cut sides of the bread.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.

Add the pepperoni or any other desired toppings on top of the cheese.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder evenly over the assembled pizzas.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Slice into desired portions.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve warm.
