Savory Bacon & Spinach Egg Bake

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon olive oil (for greasing the baking dish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.

      Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and let it cool before crumbling into small pieces.

        Sauté the Spinach: In the same skillet with a bit of bacon grease left over, add the chopped spinach and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and set aside.

          Mix the Eggs & Milk: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

            Add Seasonings: Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, crumbled bacon, sautéed spinach, and half of the cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.

              Combine Ingredients: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

                Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the egg mixture.

                  Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

                    Cool & Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving. Enjoy warm!
