Ingredients

1 pound turkey tenderloin

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Juice of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Marinate the Turkey: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add the turkey tenderloin and marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Sear the Tenderloin: In an oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of the remaining butter. Once melted, add the marinated turkey tenderloin and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Add Garlic Butter: Reduce the heat to low, then pour the prepared garlic butter over the seared turkey, making sure to coat it evenly.

Bake the Tenderloin: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste the turkey with the garlic butter halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Rest and Slice: Remove the skillet from the oven and let the turkey rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.

Garnish and Serve: Slice the turkey tenderloin, drizzle it with any remaining garlic butter in the skillet, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
