Ingredients

2 racks of baby back ribs (approximately 4 pounds)

1 cup honey

1 cup BBQ sauce (choose your favorite variety)

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for easier eating and better flavor absorption. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

Make the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

Season the Ribs: Evenly coat both sides of the ribs with the marinade by brushing it generously over the surface. Reserve a cup of the marinade for later.

Slow Cooker Time: Place the ribs in the slow cooker, curling them to fit if necessary. Pour the remaining marinade over the top of the ribs.

Cook Them Low and Slow: Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.

Finish with a Glaze (Optional): Preheat your oven broiler. Once the ribs are cooked, carefully transfer them to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush the reserved marinade on top of the ribs.

Broil for Extra Flavor: Place the ribs under the broiler for about 2-5 minutes, keeping a close eye on them to avoid burning. This step will caramelize the sauce and give the ribs a sticky finish.

Serve: Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side and garnish with fresh parsley.
