Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (or a mix of oregano, basil, and thyme)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Next, pour in the chicken broth, scraping any brown bits off the bottom of the pan.

Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian herbs, and lemon juice. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes.

Combine in Slow Cooker: Pour half of the sauce into the bottom of your slow cooker. Place the seared pork chops on top and then pour the remaining sauce all over the chops.

Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until pork chops are tender and cooked through.

Serve: Once done, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve the pork chops with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce drizzled generously on top.
