Ingredients
  

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ cup packed brown sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup mini marshmallows (plus extra for topping)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.

      Press half of the graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base crust.

        Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by the mini marshmallows.

          Crumble the remaining graham cracker mixture over the top, ensuring to cover as much as possible.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffy and lightly golden.

              Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Then, sprinkle more mini marshmallows on top, return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to toast the marshmallows.

                Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for 30 minutes before slicing.
