Ingredients

For the Fish:

1 lb white fish fillets (like tilapia or mahi-mahi)

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lime juice

1/2 tsp salt

For the Slaw:

2 cups shredded green cabbage

1 cup shredded carrots

1/4 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp honey

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tsp lime juice

For Assembling:

8 small corn tortillas

Lime wedges for serving

Additional cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Fish: In a bowl, combine the white fish fillets, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, and salt. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare the Slaw: In another large bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, diced red onion, and chopped cilantro. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour this dressing over the slaw mixture and toss to combine. Set aside.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, hot sauce, and lime juice until well blended. Adjust the hot sauce to your preferred spice level.

Cook the Fish: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Warm the Tortillas: While the fish is cooking, warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos: On each tortilla, place a piece of the cooked fish, top with a generous scoop of the slaw, drizzle with the spicy sauce, and garnish with extra cilantro.

Serve: Serve the tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
