Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup hot sauce (adjust to your spice preference)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to help them crisp up during baking. Season them with salt and pepper, ensuring they're evenly coated.

Bake the Wings: Place the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Make the Spicy Honey Butter Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well and let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes to meld the flavors.

Toss the Wings: Once the wings are done baking and crispy, remove them from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the spicy honey butter sauce over the wings and toss until they are fully coated.

Serve: Transfer the coated wings to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for color. Serve them hot with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
