Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 cup honey

1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

Freshly chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prep the Wings: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.

Make the Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Coat the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, take them out of the oven and toss them in the prepared honey BBQ sauce until well coated.

Final Bake: Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize and become sticky.

Serve: Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve hot alongside your favorite dipping sauce.
